Dutch Liberation Day

Dutch Liberation Day The Hague

The Dutch Natinoal Liberation Day is on May 5th and we celebrate that we live in freedom in the Netherlands. We celebrate that in 1945 we were liberated from the German occupation in Europe and the Japanese occupation in Asia. That the Second World War with conflict and oppression has ended.

We celebrate this day with many festivities! Whole of the Hague is full of music, dance and parties - so go out and enjoy! Tip of the day: Malieveld. This years, artists such as Fedde le Grand, Candy Dulfer and Di-Rect will be preforming. Click HERE for the full program.
